🌉 Spruce Street Suspension Bridge

The Presidio marked Spain’s first permanent settlement in California. Serra also established Mission San Diego de Alcalá on the same site before it moved to Mission Valley in 1774. This early settlement became the foundation for what later grew into Old Town.
